Coys has up for auction a 1965 Bizzarrini, Ex-Giotto Bizzarrini Competitione Berlinetta, on 13 August 2011 at the "39th Oldtimer Grand Prix", Nurburgring, Germany.
Coys says this car was the development car used by Giotto Bizzarrini and then kept for his personal use for many years. A detailed investigation into the history of this car would be wise for a potential buyer.
I wrote about this car before at this link.
This car has been for sale for a long time at Coys in the UK. With the stated history of this car the only explanations for the long sales cycle must be a very high price expectation, or maybe potential buyers question the stated history.
Coys does not provide a price range estimate.
I have written about other Bizzarrinis for sale here, here, here and here.
Coys misspelled "Bizzarrini" twice, in two different ways, in their auction web site title for this car. I hope they have made the correction by the time you read this.

It does look old, but its appearance must have been quite a sight to behold back in the 60s. There are cars today that are still similarly modeled and designed. Ah, I hope it finds its way to its next owner soon.
ReplyDeleteI am sure someone will buy it.
