RM Auctions has a 1975 Maserati Bora for sale at their Monterey auction on Friday August 19, 2011. The estimate is $60,000-$80,000 and is offered without reserve.

The Bora has a 4,930 cc mid-mounted V-8 engine and a ZF five-speed manual gearbox in rear transaxle form producing 320 bhp.

RM says:

- One of 564 built from 1971-1980 and one of 275 with 4.9-liter V-8

- A landmark Giorgetto Giugiaro design

- Freshly rebuilt hydraulics and new water pump; desirable colors

- Only 24,000 miles, rust-free, single ownership since the 1970s

This looks like a nice car. I will take pictures in person in two weeks.
