The seller, E Thiesen in Germany, claims this 1967 Bizzarrini GT 5300 is “fully documented” and has been prepared for historic racing. It is a fiberglass-bodied car with a 420 hp 327 cid engine with 4 Weber carburetors that you can see in these pictures.
I do not know the chassis number and that would be important information because I have written about two Bizzarrini GT 5300s recently that have had duplicate chassis numbers here and here.
The dashboard on this car seems to be a combination of a series 1 and series 2 dashboard. I have never seen another one like this.
This looks like the authentic Bizzarrini intake manifold, or a good replica.
This P538 below is also in Germany at Bratke Exclusive Cars. The seller claims this car was made by Bizzarrini in 1974.
The seller also lists this car as a Ferrari Bizzarini P 578 Spider Einzelstück - a strange name (Einzelstück means single copy). But Ferrari should not be part of the name and it is a P538 not P578.
There were only four original P538s made. However, Giotto Bizzarrini made some highly authentic reproductions a few years ago. The seller says this car has a De Tomaso Pantera / Ford Cleveland engine which would be unusual for a P538. I am not sure what a a De Tomaso Pantera / Ford Cleveland engine is - it is either a Ford or not, De Tomaso did not make engines.
This car would require a history review by an expert and a lot of detailed investigation by a prospective buyer.
The asking price is 379.000 Euros ($545,000).
