Ferraris For Sale

by Mike -

Up first is a 1958 Ferrari 250 "Pontoon Fender" Testa Rossa that was up for auction by RM Auctions in August 2010 in Monterey. This car did not sell at a high bid of $10,700,000. There were only 35 Testa Rossas made of all types between 1956 and 1961. This helps explain the high bid amount and still a no sale.

The RM link is here.

This Enzo and an F40 were in Monterey just down the street from the RM auction and the Russo and Steele auction in August 2010. I do not know if these cars were sold or if they were just driving by.

Below is a 1990 F40 on eBay in New York with a starting bid of $535,000 and a buy it now price of $545,000. It has only 3,449 miles.

A total of 1,315 F40s were made from 1988 to 1991 and they were the super car of their day. This is the last of the Ferraris designed while Enzo Ferrari was alive. The "40" in the name indicates the 40 year anniversary of Ferrari.

Next is a 1972 365 GTB/4 Daytona with only 38,300 miles for sale by the Sports Car Company in California for $285,000. These have been one of the favorites of Ferrari fans since they were first made. 1,284 were produced between 1968 and 1973.

And last is a 1968 365 GT 2+2 for sale by Michael Sheehan in California for $119,500. This looks to be a beautiful example with 34,024 miles. There were 800 of these made between 1968 and 1971.

There seems to be a Ferrari for every budget.
