You Don't See These Cars Every Day

by Mike -

The covered headlights are unusual on this 1971 Lamborghini Miura.

What a fast back on this 1954 Bentley!

Ferrari Spider California, nothing more needs to be said.

Look at how the hatch back opens sideways on this 1953 Fiat Stanguelinni Berlineta.

This little beauty was once owned by Briggs Cunningham.

Love it or hate it this 1963 Studebaker Avanti is a pure American design. I love it.

This 1939 Delahaye Model 145 Coupe is a sight to admire.

The 1950 Studebaker Commander Starlight Coupe still looks like something from the future, at least the future in 1950.

The 1941 Tatra T87 4 door sedan is awesome and also looks like something from the future. I wrote about this model before here.

There are not many cars where the drivers seat swivels out to meet the driver like this 1960 Chrysler New Yorker Convertible.

I did not know that General Motors made an all electric car in 1966 - did you?

This is a 1966 ElectroVair II. It looks like a Corvair except for all of the batteries and the electric motor.

These pictures were taken at the Marin Sonoma Concours d'Elegance on May 15, 2011.
