Ferrari - Italian Art

by Mike -

Ferraris have historically defined beauty and performance for automobiles - art. This 275 GTB certainly is one of the most beautiful cars every made. This model, and most Ferraris, have been styled by Pininfarina.

The California Spider is in the same league.

Even the cars that did not make it off of the drawing board were beautiful.

Below are drawings of the profiles of three versions produced for Ferrari by Carrozzeria Touring. From the top: barchetta, berlinetta and the GT.

Ferrari used this image as a factory poster in 1994 with the title "L'idea Ferrari". I have one hanging on the wall in my office.

Has Ferrari continued this tradition of beautiful styling with the latest models? That is a matter of personal opinion and mine opinion is no they have not. I would like to read your opinions, please let me know what you think.

  2. Don,

I agree with the comment about the 275 GTB, that is why it is the first car pictured.

    You are welcome.
