Is This A Real Bizzarrini? - Part 2

by Mike -

I wrote about this car before when it was reported as sold at the Coys auction in London in January 2011. It has the same chassis number as a known Bizzarrini, in long term ownership. There are other questions about this car which I discussed in my previous article.

It is now for sale by a dealer in Belgium here. The seller says "The presented car has a racing history and is in good general condition."

The Coys description in January did not mention a "racing history" which seems like an important item to mention when selling a classic car. The Coys description has now been removed from the Coys web site.

Coys published a list of the results from this auction here and this car is listed as sold for £242,600. It was previously reported by Coys as sold for £250,000 (approximately $405,000 US).

My first article about this car is here and the questions about this car continue.
